Jesus CHRIST

KING JEW: KING of Kings, and LORD of Lords -

Suffering Servant; Soon-coming, Conquering KING of Kings and LORD of Lords.

One said of himself - "Veni, Vidi, Vici" - i.e., I came, I saw, I conquered! - the rest of the story is, he died, he went to Hell, he suffered....

But of another it may be said - "HE saw, HE offered Himself through the Holy Ghost to the Father as the sinless sacrificial Lamb for lost mankind, HE laid aside His power and immortality, HE humbled Himself, HE came, HE lived a sinless life (something no other person has ever done), HE denied Himself, HE gave, and gave, and gave, HE suffered, HE sacrificed Himself, HE laid down HIS life, HE died in the place of sinful, lost, condemned mankind, HE was entombed, HE descended to Hell, HE conquered death, and Hell, and Satan, HE took the keys of Hell & death, HE rose from the dead, HE left behind him an empty tomb, HE showed Himself openly for forty days and nights, HE ascended to Heaven in full view of over 500 people on a clear day, HE is seated at the right hand of GOD the Father (where HE maketh intercession for His own, to God the Father, bought with His own spotless blood), until HIS enemies be made HIS footstool, and then HE is returning in glory as Righteous Judge, and as KING of Kings, to execute righteous judgment and justice upon all whom have refused and resisted and rejected the LOVE OF GOD, CHRIST JESUS, The Messiah, the Sent One, the Lamb of GOD slain from the foundation of the world, the Son of GOD!

Satan imagined that he conquered Jesus Christ, and thus God the Father, when he succeeded in conspiratorially causing Jesus Christ to be crucified to death on Calvary; but it was Jesus Christ who yielded himself to permit himself to be taken, condemned, and crucified.  Satan instead of conquering Jesus Christ and God the Father, was conquered by Jesus Christ on Calvary.  Satan realized his failure with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and has been furiously doing everything in his power ever since to vindictively inflict as much suffering upon the Kingdom of God as he can by persecuting, attacking, murdering, and destroying as many of God's people as he can, and attempting to prevent as many sinners from being saved as he can.  Invictus, is supposed to mean unconquered.  Christ Jesus stooped to conquer and remains unconquered, while Satan the Devil, the old serpent, who came only to steal and murder and destroy has been conquered.

King Jew

Where is HE that is born King of the Jews?

Isaiah 7:10-14

Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying, Ask thee a sign of The LORD thy GOD; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.  But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt The LORD.

And HE said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary My GOD also? Therefore The LORD Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a SON, and shall call His name IMMANUEL.

Hosea 13:4

Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.

Matthew 1:18-25

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.  Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Matthew 2:1-2

Now when JESUS was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the King, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is HE that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen His Star in the east, and are come to worship HIM.

Matthew 2:3-23

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.  And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.  And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.  When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.  And being warned of GOD in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.  Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

But when Herod was dead, behold, and angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt. Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.

And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.  But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

Matthew 3:16-17

And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

John 19:19

And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross.  And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.

The Lamb of God

Suffering Servant

Isaiah 42:1-7

Behold My Servant, whom I uphold; Mine elect, in whom My Soul delighteth; I have put My Spirit upon HIM: HE shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

HE shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.

A bruised reed shall HE not break, and the smoking flax shall HE not quench: HE shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

HE shall not fail nor be discouraged, till HE have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for His law.

Thus saith GOD the LORD, HE that created the heavens, and stretched them out; HE that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; HE that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the LORD have called Thee in righteousness, and will hold Thine hand, and will keep Thee, and give Thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

I AM the LORD: that is My Name: and My glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Isaiah 42:19-21

Who is blind, but My Servant? or deaf, as My Messenger that I sent? who is blind as HE that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's Servant?

Seeing many things, but Thou observest not; opening the ears, but HE heareth not.

The LORD is well pleased for His righteousness' sake; HE will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

Isaiah 43:10-13

Ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD, and My Servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe ME, and understand that I AM HE: before ME there was no God formed, neither shall there be after ME.

I, even I, AM the LORD; and beside ME there is no saviour.

I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are My witnesses, saith the LORD, that I Am GOD.

Yea, before the day was I AM HE; and there is none that can deliver out of My hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

Isaiah 44:6

Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and His Redeemer the LORD of Hosts; I AM the First, and I am the Last; and beside ME there is no God.

Isaiah 44:13

I have raised HIM up in righteousness, and I will direct all His ways: HE shall build My city, and HE shall let go My captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of Hosts.

Isaiah 44:28 - 45:1

That saith of Cyrus, HE is My Shepherd, and shall perform all My pleasure; even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.

Thus saith the LORD to His Anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before HIM; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before HIM the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut:....

Isaiah 49:1-9

Listen, O isles, unto ME; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called ME from the womb; from the bowels of My mother hath HE made mention of My name.

And HE hath made My mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand hath HE hid ME, and made ME a polished shaft; in His quiver hath HE hid ME:

And said unto ME, Thou art My Servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.

Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent My strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely My judgment is with the LORD, and My work with My GOD.

And now, saith the LORD that formed ME from the womb to be His Servant, to bring Jacob again to HIM. Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and My GOD shall be My strength.

And HE said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel; I will also give Thee for a light to the Gentiles, that Thou mayest be My Salvation unto the end of the earth.

Thus saith the LORD, the REDEEMER of Israel, and His HOLY ONE, to HIM whom man despiseth, to HIM whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the HOLY ONE of Israel, and HE shall choose Thee.

Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard Thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped Thee: and I will preserve Thee, and give Thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth: to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves, They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

Isaiah 50:2

Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called was there none to answer?  Is My hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver?

Isaiah 50:4-10

The LORD GOD hath given ME the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: HE wakeneth morning by morning, HE wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

The LORD GOD hath opened Mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.

I gave My back to the smiters, and My cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not My face from shame and spitting.

For the LORD GOD will help ME; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

HE is near that justifieth ME; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to ME.

Behold, the LORD GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of HIS Servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his GOD.

Isaiah 52:10

The LORD hath made bare His Holy Arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our GOD.

Isaiah 52:13-15

Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently, HE shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.  As many were astonied at Thee; His visage was so marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men: So shall HE sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at HIM: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

Isaiah 53:1-12

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is The Arm of the LORD revealed?

For HE shall grow up before HIM as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: HE hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see HIM, there is no beauty that we should desire HIM.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from HIM; HE was despised, and we esteemed HIM not.

Surely HE hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem HIM stricken, smitten of GOD, and afflicted.

But HE was wounded for our transgressions, HE was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon HIM; and with HIS stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on HIM the iniquity of us all.

HE was oppressed, and HE was afflicted, yet HE opened not His mouth; HE is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so HE openeth not His mouth.

HE was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare His generation? for HE was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was HE stricken.

And HE made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death; because HE had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth.

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise HIM; HE hath put HIM to grief: when Thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin, HE shall see His seed, HE shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.

HE shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: by His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify many; for HE shall bear their iniquities.

Therefore will I divide HIM a portion with the great, and HE shall divide the spoil with the strong; because HE hath poured out His soul unto death: and HE was numbered with the transgressors; and HE bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Psalm 22

My GOD, My GOD, why hast Thou forsaken ME? why art Thou so far from helping ME, and from the words of My roaring?

O My GOD, I cry in the daytime, but Thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

But Thou art Holy, O Thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Our fathers trusted in Thee: they trusted, and Thou didst deliver them.

They cried unto Thee, and were delivered: they trusted in Thee, and were not confounded.

But I am a worm, and no man,; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

All they that see ME laugh ME to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

He trusted on the LORD that HE would deliver him: let HIM deliver him, seeing he delighted in HIM.

But Thou art HE that took ME out of the womb: Thou didst make ME hope when I was upon My mother's breasts.

I was cast upon Thee from the womb: Thou art My GOD from My mother's belly.

Be not far from ME; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

Many bulls have compassed ME: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

I am poured out like water, and all My bones are out of joint: My heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of My bowels.

My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and My tongue cleaveth to My jaws; and Thou hast brought ME into the dust of death.

For dogs have compassed ME: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed ME: they pierced My hands and My feet.

I may tell all My bones: They look and stare upon ME.

They part My garments among them, and cast lots upon My vesture.

But be not Thou far from ME, O LORD: O my strength, haste Thee to help ME.

Deliver My soul from the sword; My darling from the power of the dog.

Save ME from the lion's mouth: for Thou hast heard ME from the horns of the unicorns.

I will declare Thy name unto My brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise Thee.

Ye that fear the LORD, praise HIM; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify HIM; and fear HIM, all ye the seed of Israel.

For HE hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath HE hid His face from HIM; but when HE cried unto HIM, HE heard.

My praise shall be of Thee in the great congregation: I will pay My vows before them that fear HIM.

The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek HIM: your heart shall live for ever.

All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before Thee.

For the Kingdom is the LORD's: and HE is the Governor among the nations.

All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before HIM: and none can keep alive his own soul.

A seed shall serve HIM; it shall be accounted to the LORD for a generation.

They shall come, and shall declare His righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that HE hath done this.

Psalm 69:1-36

Save me, O God, for the waters are come in unto my soul.  I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.  I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.  Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.  I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.  For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.  I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.  They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.  Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.  Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.  And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.  Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.

Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.  Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.  Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.  Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.  Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.  Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.  Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.  I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.  This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.  For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.  For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.  The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.

Psalm 70:1-5

Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

Amos 2:6

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;....

Zechariah 6:12

And speak unto HIM, saying Thus speaketh the LORD of Hosts, saying, Behold the Man whose name is The BRANCH; and HE shall grow up out of His place, and HE shall build the temple of the LORD.

Zech. 9:9 & 11

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy KING cometh unto thee: HE is Just, and having Salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of ass.

As for Thee also, by the blood of Thy covenant I have sent forth Thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.

Zech. 11:7-14

And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto ME two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.

Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and My soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred ME.

Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.

And I took My staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break My covenant which I had made with all the people.

And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon ME knew that it was the Word of the LORD.

And I said unto them, If ye think good, give ME My price; and if not forbear. So they weighed for My price thirty pieces of silver.

And the LORD said unto me Cast it unto the potter; a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.

Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

Zech. 12:10-11

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon ME whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for HIM as one mourneth for HIS ONLY SON, and shall be in bitterness for HIM, as one that is in bitterness for HIS Firstborn.

In that day shall there be a great mourning, in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

Zech. 13:1 & 6-7

In that day there shall be a Fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

And one shall say unto HIM, What are these wounds in Thine hands?  Then HE shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of My friends.

Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, and against the Man that is My Fellow, saith The LORD of Hosts: smite the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn Mine hand upon the little ones.

Zech. 14:3

Then shall The LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when HE fought in the day of battle.

Malachi 2:4-8

And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that My Covenant might be with Levi, saith The LORD of Hosts.

My Covenant was with HIM of life and peace; and I gave them to HIM for the fear wherewith HE feared ME, and was afraid before My name.

The law of truth was in His mouth, and iniquity was not found in His lips: HE walked with ME in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.

For the Priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at His mouth: for HE is the Messenger of The LORD of Hosts.

But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted The Covenant of Levi, saith The LORD of Hosts.

Hosea 6:1-2

Come, and let Us return unto The LORD: for HE hath torn, and HE will heal Us; HE hath smitten, and HE will bind Us up.

After two days will HE revive Us: in the third day HE will raise Us up, and We shall live in His sight.

Jonah 1:17

And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

Matthew 12:39-40

But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Matthew 16:4

A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas.  And he left them, and departed.

And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again.  And they were exceeding sorry.

Matthew 26:10-13

When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.  For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.  For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.  Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.

Matthew 26:14-16

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you?  And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.  And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

Matthew 26:18-25

And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.  And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.  Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.  And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.  And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?

And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.  The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.  Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I?  He said unto him, Thou hast said.

Matthew 26:26-28

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Matthew 26:31-32

Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.  But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.

Matthew 26:53-56

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?  But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me?  I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.  But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.  Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

Matthew 27:3-10

Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priest and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood.  And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.  And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.  And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.  And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.  Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value; And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.

Matthew 27:11

And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked Him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews?  And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.

Matthew 27:17-20

Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you?  Barabbas, or Jesus which is called CHRIST?  For he knew that for envy they had delivered Him.

When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of Him.

But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

Matthew 27:22-25

Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called CHRISTThey all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

And the governor said, Why, what evil hath HE done?  But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

Matthew 27:26-66

Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.

Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto Him the whole band of soldiers. And they stripped Him, and put on Him a scarlet robe.  And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon His head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before Him, and mocked Him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

And they spit upon Him, and took the reed, and smote Him on the head.  And after that they had mocked Him, they took the robe off from Him, and put His own raiment on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him.

And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear His cross.

And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, They gave Him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when He had tasted thereof, He would not drink.  And they crucified Him, and parted His garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted My garments among them, and upon My vesture did they cast lots.  And sitting down they watched Him there; And set up over His head His accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

There were there two thieves crucified with Him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.  And they that passed by reviled Him, wagging their heads, And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself.  If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.

Likewise also the chief priests mocking Him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; Himself He cannot save.  If He be the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now, if He will have Him: for He said, I am the Son of God.

The thieves also, which were crucified with Him, cast the same in His teeth.

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.  And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My GOD, My GOD, why hast thou forsaken Me?

Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.  And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave Him to drink.  The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save Him.

Jesus, when He had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of GOD.

And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto Him: Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.

When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple: He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.  Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.  And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.

And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.

Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while He was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.

Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night, and steal Him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.  So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

Mark 8:31

And HE began to teach them, that The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Mark 9:9, 30-31

And as they came down from the mountain, HE charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till The Son of Man were risen from the dead.

And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and HE would not that any man should know it.  For HE taught His disciples, and said unto them, The Son of Man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill HIM; and after that HE is killed, HE shall rise the third day.  But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask HIM.

Luke 11:29-30

And when the people were gathered thick together, HE began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

Matthew 3:11-12

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven.  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 8:23-28

And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.  And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.  And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.  And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?  Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.  But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?

Matthew 10:14-15

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.  Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Matthew 10:28

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 11:20-24

Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: Woe unto thee, Chorazin! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.  But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.  And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.  But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

Matthew 13:39-43

...the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.  As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.  The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father....

Matthew 13:49-50

So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?  If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

Matthew 24:27 & 30-31

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 25:31-32, 41, 46

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations:....

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:....

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Matthew 26:63-65

But Jesus held his peace.  And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.

Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

Matthew 28:1-20

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.  And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the LORD descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow; And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.  And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.  He is not here: for He is risen, as He said, Come, see the place where the LORD lay.  And go quickly, and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead; and, behold, He goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see Him: lo, I have told you.

And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring His disciples word.  And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail.  And they came and held Him by the feet, and worshipped Him.  Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell My brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see Me.

Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.  And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole Him away while we slept.  And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.  So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.  And when they saw Him, they worshipped Him: but some doubted.  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I AM with you alway, even unto the end of the world.  Amen.

I Peter 3:21-22

...by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

II Peter 3:10-13

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for a new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Jude 1:14

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the LORD cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Revelation 1:7-8

Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him.  Even so, Amen.  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Revelation 1:10-20

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me.  And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.  His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire; And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters.  And He had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and His countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead.  And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death.

Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks.  The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Revelation 5:5-14

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.  And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.  And He came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

And when He had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.  And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And has made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.  And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.  And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.  And the four beasts said, Amen.  And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth for ever and ever.

Revelation 7:9-10

After this I beheld, and , lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Revelation 14:12-16

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.  And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.  And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap. for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.  And He that sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

Revelation 15:3-5

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.  Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.  And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.  And he saith unto me, these are the true sayings of God.  And I fell at his feet to worship him.  and he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns: and He had a name written that no man knew, but He himself.

And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of GOD.  And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty GOD.  And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Revelation 19:19-21

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army.  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.  These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.  And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Revelation 20:4-6

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.  This is the first resurrection.  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Revelation 21:22-23

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Revelation 21:27

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 22:1-7

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.  And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him: And they shall see His face and His name shall be in their foreheads.  And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.  And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to shew unto His servants the things which must shortly be done.  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Revelation 22:12-13

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Revelation 22:16-21

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.  I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come.  And let him that heareth say, Come.  And let him that is athirst come.  And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly.  Amen.  Even so, come, Lord Jesus.  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.  Amen.

Psalms 45:1-17

My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the King: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.  Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore GOD hath blessed thee for ever.

Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.  And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.  Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the King's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.

The throne, O GOD, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy Kingdom is a right sceptre.  Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore GOD, thy GOD, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.  Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.  Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people and thy father's house; So shall the King greatly desire thy beauty: for He is thy LORD; and worship thou Him.

And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.  The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.  She shall be brought unto the King in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.  With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the King's palace.  Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.

I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
